Wallace "Richard" McAnally

Wallace “Richard” McAnally, 90, passed away peacefully Friday, January 7, 2022, at his home in Morristown. He was a residential and commercial builder in the Lakeway area for many years and was a life-long farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, of 53 years, Mildred McAnally; parents, Bryan and Mucie McAnally; brothers, Carl and J.D. McAnally; and sister, Mary Ruth Gibson. 

Survivors include his daughter, Gail (Todd) Gordon; grandchildren, Shawn Gordon and Trisha Gordon; sister, Mildred Robertson; brother-in-law, Eugene Dodson and sister-in-law, Bessie Dodson; special family friend whom he loved like a son, Steve Skelton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2022, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Marshall officiating. Interment will follow the funeral services in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
