Wanda E. Ricker Mullins, 93, went to be with her Lord and savior on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Morristown since it opened in 1967. Wanda retired from J.C. Penney following several decades of service.Wanda was born in Greene County, TN, and she was saved at age 18.
She loved Jesus and her family very deeply. You could not out-give her. She wasa hard worker, often working 2 or 3 jobs at the same time before she retired. She loved to read about and practice healthy eating and living. She honoredher father and mother, and she showed her family what agape love is. We’veall been blessed by Jesus placing her in our lives.
Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Lee Ricker, who died young; her second husband, Clinton Mullins Jr.; her parents, Leslie and Pearl Darnell; her brother Johnny B. Darnell; her son-in-law, Alvin Bruce McDaniel; and an infant son and daughter, Danny Lee Ricker and Mary E.Ricker.
She is survived by her son, Larry W. Ricker (Doris); daughter, Deborah McDaniel; step-son, Steve Mullins (Diana); step-daughter, Rebecca Mullins; grandson, Robert Ricker; granddaughter, Melissa Gossett (David); step grandsons, Byron Mullins (Karen) and Chad Mullins (Lora); greatgrandchildren, Tyler (Tiffany), Jared (Brooke), Jonathan, and Jacob (Tapanga) Gossett; step great grandchildren, Luke Mullins and Kenzie Mullins; great great-grandchildren, Ellie Grace and Rayleigh Kate Gossett; and step greatgreat-grandson, Judson Helton.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM, on Sunday, September 21,2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will followat 7 PM, with Rev. Don Lamb officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 AM, on Monday, September 22, 2025, at River Hill Cemetery in Greeneville, TN
