William "Audly'' Nichols gained his heavenly wings, Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at home with his family by his side.
Audly loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. He was saved at the age of fourteen and was a member of Davis Chapel Baptist Church in Kyles Ford, Tennessee. Anyone who knew him knows that he was a kind and honest man who firmly believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Audly was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Geneva (Weston) Nichols; brothers: Otha, Marvin, Kenneth, Howard, Junior; sisters: Tava Adams, Mary Ruth Messer, Beulah Lawson.
He is survived by his loving wife, June (Potter) Nichols; daughters Kathy (Steve) Robertson and Vicki Ferguson; grandchildren Justin Robertson and Devin (Matt) Jones; special great-granddaughter Madisyn Ervin; several nieces and nephews.
No funeral service is planned but the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. The family will meet 11 a.m., Friday, July 9, 2021, at Hamblen Memorial Gardens for a brief graveside service, with Rev. Mike Hensley officiating.
