William Rader Obituary

William “Bill” Rader, 92, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of First United Methodist Church ad sang in the choir for several decades. He was a Sergeant in the Army Reserves and retired from Enka. Bill was a member of the Lions Club and a faithful VOLS fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Ruth Rader; parents, Richard and Myrtle Rader; brother, James; sisters, Edna, Georgia and Jenny.

Survivors include his brother, Bob Rader; sisters, Mary Rader and Hazel Briscoe as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 12:00pm Thursday, November 8, at First United Methodist Church prior to the funeral service at 12:00pm with Reverend Walter Weikel officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church; 101 E. 1stNorth Street; Morristown, Tn. 37814.
