Wilma (Wall) Floyd, 102, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at her home in Morristown, surrounded by her three daughters. She was born at home in Hamblen County on May 30, 1923, to the late J. Otto and Ella Wall. She was a member of Russellville Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Rev. Frank E. Floyd; son-in-law, David LaRue; and sister, Mary Bolton.
Wilma is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Paul) Henderson, Sara (Willis) Hodge, and Virginia LaRue; grandchildren, Scottie (Ramelle) Carpenter, Robbie (Cindy) Carpenter, Page (Brent) Maples, Leigh Ann (Robert) Allen; and six great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for all of their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to your local Humane Society.
A private graveside service will be held in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
