Wilma C (Locke) Phillips

Wilma C. Phillips (Locke) 80, born July 12 1940 of Mooresburg, but resided in Morristown , Tn. for 61 years raising her family, passed into her Heavenly Home of Eternal rest Monday October 12th, 2020, after a long, yet courageous battle with several challenging illnesses at her home surrounded by love.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William F. Phillips of Salisbury, Nc.; her parents Charles and Rosa Locke; brother, Charles (Bud) Locke; sister, Verna Franklin; great grandson, Zaiden Moyers and her special friend Nettie Snapp.

She is survived by her children, Larry Joe Locke, Michael Inscore (Becky), Rebecca (Charlene) Vannatter (Mark), Edwin (Doodle) Phillips, Ruby Phillips, Debbie Sue Seal (Scott), Sandy Mckinney (Rex), stepchildren James (Jimmy) Phillips, Rebecca (Becky) Beam (John); grandchildren, Mark A. Vannatter II (Kesha), Charissa Moyers (Dale), Dilan Seal (Casey), Amy Locke, Leslie Locke, Emily McKinney, and Will McKinney; great grandchildren, Landon Vannatter, Dalton Vannatter, Paisley O'brien, Masey Seal, Abby Seal, Carson Locke, and Kinsley Coffey; brothers, Mack Locke (Verla), Henry Locke (Rita) and several nieces and nephews.

To know Wilma was to love her, she loved all of her children and family dearly as did they love her. She made a huge footprint on the hearts of all she met along the way. She was an amazing soul who will be greatly missed but never forgotten as she abides in every ray of sunshine now and forever.

Graveside service for family and friends is at 2 pm. Friday October 16, 2020 in the Garden of Gethsemane at Hamblen Memorial Gardens Morristown, Tn.  Tommy Ramsey, Ben Brotherton will officiate.
