Worth Henderson Wheeler

Worth H. Wheeler born in Greene County, TN and long time resident of Bulls Gap passed away at age 82 at the Mountain Home VA Hospital on December 16, 2020.  He was a devoted husband for 58 years to his wife Faye as well as a beloved father to his three girls, Michele Kite (Jim), Julie Farmer (David), and Kristi Miller (Chris).  He was also a loving Papaw to his grandchildren and great-grandchild, Lyndsey Sorah, Emalee McDonald (Rob), Austin Kite (Hannah), Samantha, Jacob, and Hannah Miller, and Forrest McDonald.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Oscar and Maggie Wheeler, five brothers, Bruce, Parley, Sam, Mack, and Frankie and two sisters, Marie Gulley and Edna Justice.  He is survived by his brother Jay Wheeler and several nieces and nephews.

Worth was an Air Force veteran and retired from Volunteer Fabricators.  He was a member of Bulls Gap First United Methodist Church for over 40 years.  There will be no public service and the family asks that in lieu of flowers you may make a donation to: Bulls Gap UMC PO Box 66 Bulls Gap, TN 37711 or Online to the Mountain Home VA Medical Center, Volunteer.va.gov.
